Calculation of Main Circuit Steady-State Parameters for Capacitor Commutated Converter System

چکیده

The calculation of the main circuit parameters is basic part engineering design for high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems. Compared to conventional line commutated converter (LCC), application capacitor (CCC) can reduce probability commutation failures and shunt reactive compensation. This paper proposes a method CCC-based HVDC system. Firstly, topology CCC-HVDC system described. Secondly, based on steady-state mathematical model CCC, satisfy requirements, formulas are also given. Then procedure described in detail considering parameters, control modes, tolerances operating conditions. Finally, two-terminal ±500 kV/3000 MW LCC-CCC presented verify validity parameter method. proposed has great significance AC filter practical application.
